Itinerary:
Chichen itza has an evening Light & Sound Show that makes you travel through the time.
This is a fabulous excursion that will take us to the Yucatan Peninsula. Departure time from Cancun is 10:00 am on an AA type luxury transportation with a two-hour duration.
First we will stop at the colonial city of Valladolid for about 30 minutes, then, guide will take you to the archaeological site of Chichen Itza; he will give you an explanation and you will discover why Chichen Itza is considered the Capital of the ancient Mayan empire and recently named as one of the 7 Wonders of the World.
You will have free time to take pictures and walk through the area. Estimated time in the
zone: 3 hours.
Afterwards you will go to the Ik-kil cenote, also known as the Sacred Blue Cenote. Appreciate the beauty of under ground water or if you prefer may enjoy swimming in its crystalline waters.
Later you will have a lunch-buffet in a small village typical of the area, where you will have the opportunity to see regional dances of Yucatan, and finally you will go back to the archaeological site of Chichen Itza and be part of wonderful spectacle with its lights and sound that will take us to the past through their Mayan legends.
